Yesterday was officially the first day of Fall 2025, which means the leaves are going to be changing and falling soon if they haven’t started to already. This season is one of our favorites for off-road activities, because the blistering heat is mostly in the rearview but the scenery out in front is absolutely stunning. If you’re looking to get out there and experience all the fun activities available behind the wheel of your Jeep vehicle, we’ve got a few ideas for you. Below we’ve compiled some of the top fall Jeep events and trail rides here in Oklahoma.
Okie Jeep Jam
From October 16th to the 19th, you can head to Hatbox Field in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to experience the Okie Jeep Jam. This adrenaline-fueled festival is full of fun and exciting activities for Jeep enthusiasts from all over the state. All kinds of Jeeps will get to go mudding, run through obstacle courses and tackle challenging trails for all manner of spectators. Plus, there’s fun for the whole family, as you’ll also be able to enjoy things like karaoke, live music and even a haunted Jeep ride — a thematic twist on the classic hay ride. These are just a few of the fun activities and events that will take place over the four-day festival, so be sure to register your Jeep and take advantage of this incredible experience.
Fall Hootenanny 2025
Presented by SXSUSA, the Fall Hootenanny returns to Cross Bar Ranch in Oklahoma City for 2025! It’s a two-day event taking place over Halloween, from 9:00 a.m. on October 31st to 8:00 p.m. on November 1st. Not only will you be able to flex your rig’s abilities on the drag strip, but you can register for the Rock Bounty Races as well for an out-of-this-world off-road experience. Bring your friends and family along for the whole weekend as everyone can enjoy live concerts, trunk or treat events, costume contests and much more.
Gruber ORV County Park
The next thing we want to highlight this fall is Gruber ORV County Park. While it’s not having any specific events or trail rides this fall, it is open from sunup to sundown seven days a week. While there’s no overnight camping on site, there are plenty of nearby options that you could take advantage of to make a whole weekend out of your visit. It’s located just outside of Braggs, Oklahoma, which is roughly 90 minutes away from us here in Tulsa. This is a wonderful place for off-road enthusiasts to visit because it offers more than 450 acres of different kinds of terrains, and it’s completely free and open to the public.
Cross Bar Ranch
Speaking of highlighting great places to tackle the trails this autumn, another great location happens to be where the Hootenanny is being hosted. While you can certainly visit Cross Bar Ranch for their annual event, you can also hit them up seven days a week — plus, they’re open 24 hours, so you can even do some nighttime riding. The other big difference between this ranch and the previous park is that you do have to pay a fee to attend, but it’s just $20 per person for the whole day. Kids aged 10 to 15 cut that in half, and kids under 10 are free. With more than 150 miles of trails on 6,500 acres of terrain, you’re sure to have a good time whenever you visit the ranch.
We hope that we’ve helped you plan out some of your autumn weekends this year. If you know of any events or other great trails, don’t hesitate to let us know about them! We love to hit up these events and pass them along to our customers. Have a great fall!
