If you’ve looked around our website at all, there’s a good chance you’ve seen mention of our stages of customization. Here at LiftedJeeps.com, we do our best to make lifting Jeeps as easy as possible, which is why we’ve separated our custom builds into four different stages. Today, we’re going to be breaking down the different build stages for you, so you can understand what you get at each stage and be better prepared to decide which stage is right for you. At the bottom of this blog you’ll also find a video – from our very own Lauren – that will give you an even better glimpse into the differences between Stage 1 and Stage 2.
What comes with a Stage 1 Lifted Jeep Build?
The first stage is basically an introductory course for custom-built lifted Jeeps. If you just want to dabble in some light off-roading or make your Jeep look more aesthetically pleasing, this is probably the stage for you. It includes a 2.5” spacer lift from Skyjacker or Rough Country and includes shock extensions. In addition to the lift kit, it comes with a full set of five 17” wheels wrapped in 35” off-road tires, with a multitude of brands available.
For the wheels, typical choices include Fuel, Method, KMC and Raceline, while tire brands include Maxxis, Kenda or Patagonia. This also includes a spare tire relocator bracket for the full-size tire, AEV Procal speedometer recalibration to accommodate the larger tires and, of course, an alignment adjustment. We do offer wheel and tire upgrades if you don’t want to settle for the standard sizes, but this will obviously adjust the price from the $4,995 and $5,995 that the Gladiator and Wrangler start at.
What comes with a Stage 2 Lifted Jeep Build?
If you’re looking to tackle more than just the basics of off-roading, you’ll want something slightly better equipped than a Stage 1 build, which is why Stage 2 really kicks it up a notch. Instead of the one-size-fits-all spacer lift found in the first stage, you’ll be able to choose between three different incredible suspension options based on how much lift you want. You can choose between a 2.5” AEV Dualsport with 5100 shocks, a 3” BDS lift with Fox shocks or a 4” Readylift with Falcon shocks.
Stage 2 also includes an upgrade in the tire department, as you’ll receive slightly larger 37” tires instead, or you can even opt for 38” tires if you choose the 4” Readylift. Wheel choices remain the same, but new tire options include Nitto, Toyo and BFG. But at Stage 2 you also get more than just the lift, wheels and tires.
You’ll also receive your choice of FabFours or Rough Country front bumper with integrated lighting and a 9,500-pound winch. Other additions include a hinge gate reinforcement bracket alongside the spare tire relocator, the same alignment adjustment and speedometer recalibration, plus a set of Nfab Epyx hoop steps to accommodate the higher ground clearance.
What comes with a Stage 3 Lifted Jeep Build?
Stage 3 comes with everything that Stage 2 has to offer, plus a few extra exciting upgrades. You’ll have all the same choices and decisions to make, but on top of all that you’ll have several DV8 Spec Series accessories to make your lifted Jeep look and perform even better, with one exception. The DV8 Spec Series upgrades include a front bumper with lights and winch, which will naturally replace the FabFours or Rough Country choice from Stage 2. In addition, you’ll receive a rear bumper with lights, steel tube fenders and front and rear inner fenders all from DV8 Spec Series.
What comes with a Stage 4 Lifted Jeep Build?
We don’t need to say much in this fourth and final section, as Stage 4 is completely up to you. Whatever your vision for your custom lifted Jeep might be, come to us and we’ll do everything in our power to bring it to life.
